Alexandra Orozco, MBA

For over 20 years, Alexandra has contributed to the leadership, development and growth of uniquely successful companies, brands and teams.  Her passion is to work with innovative sustainable technologies and social enterprises prepared to challenge the status quo. Alexandra provides clients with expertise in the areas of innovation, international market penetration, women leadership development, branding and strategic marketing and communication.  Alexandra works with clients to launch businesses and bring technologies to market, as well as expand their international business and explore new markets in North and Latin America.

Alexandra has significant experience in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology commercialization.  She worked at the University of California Riverside for 6 years leading international entrepreneurship efforts, scouting for technologies in Latin America and leading international technology incubation in California.  Alexandra is a co-founder of Imagine Sustainability Consulting Co-op, a multi-disciplinary sustainability consulting group headquartered in Canada. Prior to joining Earthlogic, Alexandra was the Vice President of Marketing for Ascenta, now owned by Nature's Way, a North American leader in the nutraceuticals space. Over a period of 6 years, Alexandra developed and built Ascenta's brands to increase market share and consumer loyalty. Earlier in her career she held a variety of marketing leadership roles within the telecommunications, contact centre, and hospitality industries.

 

Alexandra is a MBA graduate from Dalhousie University in Canada and holds an International Business Administration degree from EAFIT University in Colombia. In her spare time, she is exploring the topic of leadership and decision-making psychology through the University of California, Berkeley.

John Evarts, MES, MPA, BSc. 

Partner 

John has 25 years of organizational leadership experience as well as 20 years experience planning and training in various capacities.  Throughout his career, John has successfully led groups of up to 400 people to create and achieve organizational goals. John offers clients a unique skillset combining strategy, leadership, planning, insight, engineering and technical management, guided by a deep commitment to sustainability.

 

Prior to joining Earthlogic John spent most of his career with the US Navy as a submarine officer and nuclear engineer.  John is a member of the Renewable Energy Storage Laboratory at Dalhousie University. John is the author of the EnergyShed concept and spent 6 years working in the private sector with Unisys Corporation on the Advanced Data Analytics team and then moved to SAIC as an Enterprise Solutions Architect specializing in data system designs supporting Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications serving multiple US Federal agencies.

 

John holds a Masters in Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University, a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy.  Additionally John studied Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico and Nuclear Engineering with the US Navy.
